Pranayama is the yogic art of breathing. It means to control the breath as a means to balance and control pranic energy. Prana is the life force that flows through us and any living thing. It is the energy permeating the universe. Ayama means extension, expansion, regulation, control.

Join us at OHSO Yoga for a beginners workshop on pranayama with Grace- qualified yoga teacher and respiratory physiotherapist.
The workshop will consist of a brief introduction to the eight limbs of yoga and a short movement practice to prepare the body, before a practice of pranayama.
